We Are Pregnant!!!
I guess this has to be the most craziest, emotional and fabulous blog post that I have ever written and WE are sooo happy to share this news with you all 😁. This blog and people in that community has become a part and extension in Our lives. You all have shared your love, questions, stories and lives with us. Thank you sooo much for your support and now We can't wait to share Ours.
Jeet and I have been together for almost 6 years and must say that I started taking about babies the moment we started our relationship. I totally remember that I was 23 when I met Jeet and nevertheless, the topic of babies was always front and center in Our lives and I was waiting patiently for Jeet to confidently tell me He would be ready. But We never expected it would be this soon and it was a total surprise for Us.
I have always dreamed of being a Mom and thought about how I would tell people, how would I feel about it and what kind of Mom would I be. And here We are 😀 Jeet and I totally stoked to grow Our little family.
Being pregnant has been the WEIRDEST and CRAZIEST thing that I have experienced so far. The first 3 months were totally freaky as I couldn't eat or drink normally. I have experienced severe puking and couldn't sit or stand for more than 15 minutes. Doctors prescribed some medications which was of no use until my 3rd month and I was gradually getting back to normal. This was the main reason We have put off the post for a while. May be I will call the pregnancy beautiful once the baby is here, but for now its's just different for me. I still can't get over that I am literally growing a tiny person inside me.
Until then, I wanted to let you all know that I feel GREAT now and so far We all are very healthy and EXCITED. I am mainly obsessed if my baby is ok down there, if he or she will be happy, healthy, a lovely person and have a big heart. I basically use the "BABY CENTER" App and Jeet uses the "WHO'S YOUR DADDY" App. Every weekend We bolt out of the bed to find out "WHAT SIZE THE BABY IS NOW" and this week it's the size of a heirloom tomato or a large mango!
I don't show off much of the belly though I am 19 weeks now and don't even feel pregnant. Is that normal?? I keep looking at my tummy and say, "Hey budd, are you still there?" But with my little belly growing and Our friends and family starting to really buzz about Our New Family Member coming, We thought it's better to share the news with you all.
Before I end this exciting post I want to let you guys know that we moved from LONG ISLAND, NY to MASON, OH. We are going to know out gender reveal in June and yes I have kept a good eye on my diet since my 3rd month. I have been eating more local organic fruits and veggies, SPCA approved eggs almost everyday. Lots of beans, chia seeds, yogurt, nuts, shrimp and almond milk. I have discussed all of this with my doctor and right now feeling HEALTHY and HAPPY!!
We both are SOO THANKFUL that we have been blessed with this little MIRACLE. We do realize that it's not always that easy to conceive and what a gift this is. We can't wait to meet Our little baby and I will keep You all posted along the way!
